Terms & Conditions

Draft prepared October 26, 2026 · StreamWeaver 0.3.3

This is an incomplete draft. The responsible publisher’s name and public contact details must be supplied before these terms are finalized or submitted for app review. The publisher should review the terms for its location and intended distribution.

1. Scope and publisher

These draft terms describe use of the StreamWeaver information website and Minecraft mod. The responsible publisher/operator and public support contact have not yet been supplied. The software credits Lars the LA Trekkie as its author. These draft terms do not create a paid subscription or a hosted chat service.

2. Software license

The original StreamWeaver code is licensed under GNU Affero General Public License version 3 only (AGPL-3.0-only). Bundled components retain their respective licenses; see the third-party notices and the included source archives. Your rights to use, inspect, modify, and redistribute the software are governed by those licenses. Nothing here removes rights granted by them.

3. Requirements and account access

The current build targets Minecraft Java 26.2, Fabric, Java 25, and Windows x64. You are responsible for your Minecraft installation, device, and authorized access to connected services. Configure only channels, bots, accounts, and relays you are entitled to use. Protect tokens and API keys. Do not embed private credentials in a shared mod, profile, source archive, or public issue.

4. Third-party services and TikTok

Connected platforms are independent services with their own terms, permissions, quotas, and availability. The current TikTok LIVE connector is unofficial and may change or cease functioning. StreamWeaver is not endorsed by TikTok and does not guarantee any particular event feed or every viewer arrival. Official TikTok Login Kit is not implemented. Registering an application does not by itself authorize unofficial data access or supply LIVE-event permissions.

YouTube API quotas or third-party signing providers may impose limits or charges under their own arrangements. Kick and Custom require a separately configured authorized relay. The mod and this website do not promise a universal one-click sign-in service.

5. Appropriate use and displayed content

Use the software in accordance with applicable laws, account permissions, software licenses, and provider requirements. Do not use it to obtain unauthorized access, expose private credentials, harass people, or evade platform restrictions. You remain responsible for deciding which channels and event types to display or broadcast. Messages are supplied by third-party users and may be inappropriate or inaccurate; the overlay does not provide a comprehensive moderation service.

6. Privacy and local data

The draft Privacy Policy describes local settings, credentials, temporary event processing, diagnostics, providers, and deletion controls. The mod stores credentials on your computer without application-level encryption. Sharing your screen may disclose displayed usernames, messages, and events. Keep account files private.

7. Availability and warranties

The software is supplied under the warranty provisions of its licenses, including AGPL sections 15 and 16, to the extent permitted by applicable law. No uninterrupted service, platform approval, compatibility with every mod, complete event delivery, or ongoing connector access is promised. The current build has passed compilation and automated checks; real-account delivery and in-game visual interaction remain unverified.

8. Liability and mandatory rights

The software license governs applicable warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability. Nothing in these draft terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits mandatory consumer rights. Jurisdiction-specific contractual provisions require review once the responsible publisher and distribution arrangements are known.

9. Updates and stopping use

Future versions may change supported services, connection methods, and requirements. Review accompanying documentation and updated policies. You can stop using the mod by closing Minecraft and removing its JAR. Local settings remain until you delete them; see data removal instructions. Removing the mod does not automatically revoke third-party authorizations.

10. Contact and finalization

Publisher/operator and public support contact: not yet provided. These terms remain a draft until the publisher completes and adopts them. Do not represent this draft website as proof that a TikTok API integration has been approved.
